Professional Practitioners Certificate in Recovery from Strenuous Exercise
For those working with serious and professional level athletes, this course explores the science behind, overtraining, fatigue, muscular soreness, the immune system and cardiac recovery. In addition, recovery protocols are suggested. A number of recovery modalities have been investigated, including, breathwork, therm-therapy, active recovery, photobiomodulation, cryotherapy, massage, foam rolling and others. There are also case studies for real world application.
